01Who we are

Emojim is developed and published by Ersin Ayaz ("Emojim", "we"). Ersin Ayaz is the data controller for your personal data. You can reach us at hello@emojim.app.

02Data we process

Your photos. The three photos you take or choose to create stickers. These photos show your face.

Your team choice. If you use the team bonus, the team name you choose or type. This is entirely optional.

Technical connection data. When the app connects to our server, your IP address is used momentarily to enforce a per-minute request limit that prevents abuse. We also keep short error logs for debugging, which never contain your photos.

We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts or location. The app has no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and we don't track you across apps or websites.

03Why we use it

Your photos are used only to draw stickers that look like you: an AI model first describes your appearance in words (such as hair, beard and facial features), then draws your stickers from that description and your photos.

We don't use your photos for identification or face recognition, we don't create biometric templates, we don't sell them, we don't use them for advertising and we don't use them to train our own AI models.

04Our service providers

To draw your stickers we share your data only with these providers, and only for that purpose:

Cloudflare hosts our server and temporarily stores your photos and results while drawing is in progress.

OpenRouter forwards our requests to AI models.

OpenAI and Google provide, through OpenRouter, the AI models that describe your photos and draw your stickers.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and agreements. Their servers may be located outside your country, including in the United States; when you create stickers, your photos are transferred abroad for this purpose.

05How long we keep it

Your photos are deleted from our servers once drawing completes, and automatically within 24 hours at the latest even if it doesn't.

Finished stickers are kept on our server for at most 24 hours so the app can download them, then deleted automatically.

Your packs are stored only on your iPhone. You can delete a pack in the app, and deleting the app removes them all. Stickers you add to WhatsApp stay in WhatsApp and are subject to WhatsApp's terms.

06Camera and photo access

We use the camera only when you choose to take a photo. When you pick from your library, the app sees only the photos you select, never the rest of your library.

07Other people's photos

Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have clearly given you permission. You may upload a child's photo only as their parent or guardian.

08Children

Emojim is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from children of that age.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under KVKK in Türkiye or the GDPR in Europe), you have the right to access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing and lodge a complaint. Because we keep no accounts and delete data within 24 hours, in most cases we hold no data about you. For any request, write to hello@emojim.app.

10Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll announce important changes on this page and, where appropriate, in the app; the date above shows the latest update.
